Welcome to the first CROWDSCALE newsletter of 2023.

As 2022 comes to a close, I am incredibly thankful for the community that has been built around startup investing. Thanks for being a part of the journey and excited to keep it going in 2023 😎

Let’s start the new year off with some new startup deals. Here are 3 interesting deals that I came across, check em out below!

  • Product Offering - Bright Builds plans to produce 3D-printed homes to consumers, hoping to beat traditional housing on price, speed, customization, and waste.

  • Business Model - Bright Builds is the home builder, so it will sell directly to consumers with the help of a brokerage firm

  • Valuation - $8.2M

  • Product Offering - Nobody Studios is a high-speed venture studio that is looking to launch 100 companies in the next 5 years. The shared learnings and portfolio approach aims to reduce risk and increase the chances of success for each venture

  • Business Model - Nobody Studios is a portfolio of companies, most of which do not exist yet. Nobody Studios plans to test product-market fit for 12 months. If successful, they plan to obtain venture funding to propel growth. NS will make money from its businesses and the sale of its businesses

  • Valuation - $30M Valuation Cap

YOV Inc (@YouOnlyVirtual) / Twitter
  • Product Offering - YOV uses Artificial Intelligence + Machine Learning to recreate the unique relationship held between the user and a loved one. Their software is being developed to allow people to text, call, and chat in real-time with a loved one.

  • Business Model - YOV is currently Beta testing; however it seems likely that the company would deploy a paid subscription model for its users

  • Valuation - $11.99M

CROWDSCALE is not recommending investment in the above startups. Investing in startups is risky, please do your own due diligence and only invest within your means if you decide to do so.
